20 Days “Refugee” – (Day 15 -> 17 – Florence [Italy] -> Venice [Italy] -> Verona [Italy] -> Austria)

It has come down to so many days of traveling, and we are only three quarter through the whole trip as planned. But still, we are all enjoying our days in different places. Although a little bit rush, because we are traveling through 10 countries within 14 days (excluding the 6 days Scotland trip), therefore, there are many things that was missed out.

But one thing that I do not care most will be tourist attraction places. I am a person who loves to walk through small alleys, looking at different things rather than seeing things that everybody is looking at, and could be found in Google. But of course, I will just pass by those humongous and gigantic buildings for a picture or two, and there I go, back to my mission.

Walking past Florence aka Firenzi was just another city. Nothing much different compared to other places around Europe. Although there is still some differences compared to other cities in Italy, but Florence can be seen as a place for the average people rather than for people above the line. We could see gypsies begging for money with a fake pregnancy, and of course we know what to do with it, but with smaller sculptures everywhere and markets, it tells me that people here are living the old skool way (But things in the market ain’t cheap at all).

Then we moved on to a place where everybody would be linking it to “love”, Venice, in which I would link it as a maze. It is just so hard to find a place out from there and I don’t really felt loved. Perhaps, sitting on the gondola would give me that feeling, in which I did not, or maybe perhaps I did not have a partner to be with. But for me, Venice during the day is just another island. Although it is majestically the floating city in which I was awed and surprised on how they could actually live within rivers that kinda stink, but I was really impressed on the strength and ability of human to survive anywhere around this world.

Finally, the last destination of Italy, Verona. Didn't do much there, just stopped by for a Chinese cuisine. But I was addicted by the sound of basses once we got out from the Chinese restaurant at night. It was so tempting and I would want to try it out. And of course, tons of good looking people around too. Walking pass a street could see 9 out of 10 of them are seriously good looking. But of course, after all the bad day that we’ve been through (bus wreck for few hours, and got stuck inside the bus having free saunas), everyone looks ugly. Haha…

We then took the night in Verona, moving on to Austria the next day. Nothing much in Austria I would say. But the crystals there are cheap though. I didn't buy much cause I need to budget, and of course I bought some little gifts for my friends and there we go, end of story in Austria…… WAIT!!! Forgot about the dinner in Austria. The food was great. We had bacon, and it was really well cooked. Finally we know how to eat that thing the right way. LOLZ! Not really an Asian’s taste, but it was still edible because everyone was hungry. Thank you for the nice hospitality though. :) Love it…

20 Days “Refugee” – (Day 11 – Switzerland)

Everybody woke up early with the excitement towards one thing that we don’t find in Malaysia, SNOW!!! *WHEEEEEE~~~* I was happy, I was anxious… I was having fun… I was playing snow… and now I can tell the world that I’ve touched snow.

*Ahem* sorry.. back to the topic. Switzerland, a dream country for the rich people to stay on. A person could tell by the way they dressed themselves, by their price of food, by how they walk, how they live, and how they act. Status and classes are definitely different compared to Malaysia. Therefore, we all acted the same. After taking a hike on Mt. Titlis, we took a trip down to Luzern, the city of Switzerland, which was hot, but beautiful. This was the only trip that I walked alone with a map without any friends (Because I was lost)… but it was fun to look at the city alone.

Although there is nothing much there, but the city is beautiful. A person would be amaze on how Swiss people could actually cycle in the middle of the road without being hit by a car or honk by a car. On the contrary, if a person tries to step into a driving lane in Malaysia, he is either to be honk by a car, screwed by a driver or hit by a car. That is the differences. It is just amazing on how everyone could live in harmony together rather than fighting for their place in the society at all times. I think this is what Malaysian society should’ve learn from them, which is creating a peaceful and harmonious living place.

20 Days “Refugee” – (Day 10 – Paris)

It was the last day in Paris before driving ourselves to a new direction, a new place, and a new culture. I think Paris has a plan for us in mind, just that it would reach in time, therefore crying out in grief, through the tears of the sky. That is why, this last day would be a little different, looking at Paris, in the colour of black and white, feeling the grief of Paris, the city of love, because Grief, is a part of being in love.

And coming to think of it, I didn't thought that Paris would be my 200th blog post. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

even though there aren't many blog readers here, but I will still continue writing. :) Cheers...

20 days “Refugee” – (Day 7 -> 9 – Liverpool [England] -> Paris)

It was another day back at Liverpool, and this time, the feeling is different.

Stepping back at the place we used to live for a while was dreadful, looking at the buildings for the last time, has brought me a happy yet sad feeling, because we shall be apart once again, and this time, for real. When would I come back to this lovely place? I wouldn’t know. But one thing that I know is that, I will be back. Because Liverpool will never ever let me walk alone. :)

It was a day we met up with my bro, Justin, who has decided to stay on for his studies. It was a great reunion, as well as a sad farewell, because like I say, this would be the last time, for real. When would we meet up again, only heaven knows. But, I am pretty sure that all of us will be meeting up again in the future.

After a long and heartache farewell, we see ourselves once again on the bus leaving the city we love, to a new destination. This time, with a new tour guide, Sam, who will be leading us around the whole Europe. Excited huh? Yeah, it was a total excitement for each and every single one of us. Thinking about Paris, the city of love? And there.. we’re so in love. Haha..

But I was quite shock when I first stepped into Paris. The weather is as hot as hell, but the people were nice… I mean some of it. And thinking about the city of love… hmmm… wasn’t really lovely at all… with a massive crowd around the city as well as a really bad traffic…but not until the night when we took a ride on a boat around the river of Paris, looking at Eifel tower shining throughout the night and the people having fun throughout the city, and there is where the love starts. :)

Then we took off to a dreamland the next day, DISNEYLAND!!! Every children’s dream land, and I’ve fulfilled it. :) I’ve got myself a Simba at the end of the day, and also I saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Buzz, Woody, Simba, Pooh, Pinocchio, Peter Pan……………(etc etc etc.) and I was screeching like a small kid. Playing with one of the best games I’ve had around the world as well as the best stunt show ever, this is what I call fulfilling a dream of a lifetime and I was so SO HAPPY!!!!!

Thinking back now, Paris isn’t such a bad place after all. Nice food and nice place to play. Even if it is not my ideal place to stay, but it will still be a choice for me to visit Paris once again. :)

Having my final lunch with my bro, Justin in Liverpool... :'( we missed you...
