You’ll Never Wake Up AGAIN!!!

HOW LONG NORMAL HUMAN BEING WOULD NEED TO SLEEP A DAY? 6 – 8 HOURS? BUT PARTICULARLY, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WANT TO SLEEP, OR IN OTHER WORDS, FEAR OF SLEEP CAUSING INSOMNIA IN THEIR LIFE. AND HERE IS MY STORY….

I had always a problem where most of the people faces, which would be insomnia, usually caused by over thinking which has brought me towards this matter. But recently, seems like things are getting worst and way off hand, which would be nightmare and the afraid of sleeping. This nightmare would always happen, at the moment when I was about to step into my slumberland. It just comes up, leads me towards this nightmare, and you know what I did? Try my hardest to pull myself out from the dream and eventually wake myself up from my sleep and never gone to bed again for that particular night.

But thing seems way out of hand right now. I am actually writing this post at 3.50am and yet it is a Monday morning, in which it means class day in the morning later. I wanted to sleep, but just simply don’t dare to sleep, fearing that things might go way out of hand and will never wake up again, or in other words, doesn’t want to leave this world so soon as there are still so many things around me that I would love to accomplish before I die.

According to Bukisa.com, there are 2 types of phobia that can be seen in this situation:

Oneirophobia:
“Fear of dreams. While not officially accepted by the scientific community, Oneirophobia is nonetheless quite real. It is not, as you would imagine, a fear of nightmares, it is rather a fear of facing the intimate parts of a persons’ life they can represent."

Somniphobia/Hypnophobia
“Fear of sleep. This one is surprisingly common, with thousands of documented cases each year. While most sufferers realize that it is completely unnecessary to be afraid of sleep, this does not help them at all. It could be caused by an experience of nightmares as a child, which it is subconsciously trying to avoid.”

Both of these phobias are ranked as the 10 unusual phobias around the world. Although it is easy to say and think from a normal person like “who hates to sleep? Everyone loves to sleep.” But it doesn’t mean that it does not exist. People do have different problems and the only thing to do is to find a solution to it.

Therefore, in order to get rid of the fear of sleeping, phobia-fear-release.com has mentioned that a person first have to reduce the benchmark anxiety level within their brain, which generally becomes reset during a particular condition of anxiety disorder. Moreover, when a person is irritationally anxious, the benchmark anxiety level is even more elevated resulting in unnecessary panic disorders. However, it is even more insulting that most of the fear eliminating therapies involves months and years in making the individual get rid of fearful conditions.

There are also several drugs which are often prescribed through the medications are never without essential side effects or withdrawal symptoms. However, the truth lies in the fact that drugs cannot completely cure sleeping phobia or any other form of phobic instances. Drugs can only temporarily subside the condition by providing a short-term relief where fear of sleeping usually occurs when a person attach emotions to situations and proceed towards a wrong and indefinite destination.

So, the best cure would be to learn on how to release the negative emotions and look for a bright and promising future.

This idea by phobia-fear-release.com seems kind of true as I don’t really sleep most of the time which are due to emotions that occurs while I am sleeping. Emotions that might one day lead to a worst case scenario of my life, depression or even death. True that this doesn’t cure within days or whatsoever, although it takes times, but just hope and pray for the best that things can come back in control, and never leave my side again.

WE CAN'T RUN AWAY FROM REALITY,
EVEN IF WE COULD RUN AWAY FROM IT,
WE COULDN'T RUN AWAY FOREVER.

SO ALL WE CAN DO IS TO FACE IT!

And as for those who have the same problem as I do, stay strong and stay tough, as we definitely can get through this matter together, and remember, you are not alone, as Eu is here to face the problem with you. Cheers people. ^^
