MANY MIGHT HAVE THOUGHT THAT LEAVING THE OLD LIFE TO GAIN A NEW LIFE, REGARDLESS OF RELATIONSHIP OF WHAT-SO-EVER WOULD BE TOUGH… BUT THINK ABOUT IT, IF LEAVING OUT EVERYTHING WAS TO CREATE OR TO FULFILL A DREAM, WOULD IT BE WORTH IT?
It was another band cover that I did with Suresh (Guitarist) , Vijay (Guitarist), David (Drummer) and Astray (Bassist) to cover this song by “Linkin Park – Leave Out All The Rest”, in which it was not an easy song to be covered. It took us hours of rehearsal just to come up with our final piece, although not that great, but acceptable.
Even though this last recording was my last piece of voice before I really lose it, but there was something in within the lyrics that has pushed me to the limit, and I doubt that it was only me, but it was also the band,
"Keep me in your memory,
Leave out all the rest,
Leave out all the rest"
It might sound like another typical love song lyrics, but if you look at it from another perspective, it might not only be a love song, but to keep in our memory that, no matter what we loved to do, leave out everything, leave out all the rest of it, and only keep what is worth keeping as a memory which has helped a person wins in the coming future.
