PEOPLE ALWAYS HAVE THE PASSION TO DO THINGS, BUT PASSION WITHOUT ACTION WOULD NOT SHOW RESULTS. “PASSION” IS LIKE PETROL FOR THE ENGINE, BUT HARD WORK IS THE VEHICLE; WORKING TOGETHER WITH PASSION, WOULD THEN SHOW RESULTS, AS RESULT TELLS ALL.
Walking around the mall late morning, waiting for friends to arrive (which proves that they were late), but it has been a weird feeling today. The dressing, the hair style, the muscle, the sweat and etc. has brought my attention to them. Therefore, I brought up the initiative to follow behind them.
Backdrops, stage, lights and participants had definitely brought my curiosity, but practicing by whom everyone known as “B-boy” had definitely gave me an eye opener. It is not that I had not seen b-boy performance and competition before, as the rage on them had definitely gave me an eye opener.
Maybe people would say that “hey, this is an international competition, who wouldn’t practice hard for it?” TRUE. But have you ever thought on how hard they practiced? Have you ever tried?
R16 is an international dancing competition where only few groups will be chosen to represent Malaysia for this competition. And even through sense, we would know that everyone would practice hard for it. DUH!!
Groups of dancer practiced before the competition. Without fear of showing to their competitor, without fear of showing to the shoppers and definitely without fear of hurting themselves. Shouldn’t applause be given for this? Risking their life, not only for themselves, but for others as well; entertaining others, inspiring others, by showing others on what humans can really do.
Breakdancing is NOT something that everyone can do. They hurt themselves, they risk themselves, and at the same time bringing happiness and joy to others. Not an easy task I would say. Practicing for one or two days wouldn’t show results, but years and years of practices will tell.
It is as dangerous as we all know, but smile stays on their faces even when the hardest time comes. Happiness is the word, as this is the main factor of bridging the gap between people, and this one of the platform for them to do so.
