“CAMERAS READY?”... “READY..”...”READY...”...”READY...” ... “READY...” ... “READY...” ... “READY..”...”READY...”...”READY...” ... “READY...” ... “READY...” ... “ERM... READY FOR WHAT??”
It is the Kuala Lumpur Photography Fair again, held at Mid Valley Convention Centre from the 29th to the 31st of October 2010. This festival is held or all photography lovers and also camera lovers to exhibit their arts and to tell more to others regarding their life by holding a camera. This photography fair might not be big, in which it is quite of disappointing due a very marketing oriented fair, but with a few incredible displays around the whole exhibition area, it is still fairly amazing.
Every picture tells a thousand words. But for this exhibition, every picture tells a story, on the life, journey, of a human, a living item, a non-living item on how they are portrayed, displayed and being used. Everything in this world in known as art, but what is really artistic would be the story behind those pictures, would be the story portrayed through these pictures and also the things that teaches other about the life of other beings.
Even though it was a short tour in the fair, but at least we get to play around with a few salesperson available on the counter, and also we get to survey and see some new camera models available in the market, especially the latest 3 Dimensional camera, which is already on sale and display.
As for this tour, it will be another traveling experience with the photography group in which, I was able to try out my new camera, Nikon L110, since it was bought, and in addition, to find out more about my camera and to maximize its uses towards different photography.
Lastly, we get to meet new people, making some new thoughts on how photography should be rather than just holding a camera and snapping everything without a real thought on what a photograph should portray, and I think, that would be the main purpose and taught from this fair.
Some pretty girls and handsome boys in the booth.
(But too many of them scares customers away)
Pic Below: spotted our girl, Lissa, walking around the commercial area.
I WANT A NEX-5
But I'm still the 1 out of 55 million Nikkor....
and congrats to the biggest winner of the day,
Ivan who has won first prize in the lucky draw session.
(Don't worry Lissa and Mic, we'll get our luck someday)
