Many people think that being a corporate is fun, especially for people around my age, for those who are in their 20s or younger. This is our dream, to work for our next life, to earn more money and therefore could buy a car, a house, and travel the whole world without fear.
But bear in mind, being in the corporate field is not easy. Wake up for work from morning till evening, have your dinner, watch some television, and there you go, sleep through the night and the routine starts again. Boring isn’t it?
Every field of corporate had their own stories, and this is my story. Working in a PR company for my industrial training. As usual, waking up early in the morning and work till evening, had my dinner and go to sleep. The normal routine by a corporate who sits in the office, waiting to gain weight from foods and drinks. But the thing that is different here is, we deal with different people, with different mind, with different attitude, and with people who conquer the world… the media.
Understanding the media at the first place wasn’t easy as their schedules are busy every single day, therefore bare in mind about something, work with them instead of working for them. Get to know them well rather than waiting all day long for the right time to talk to them, because they are the main people in our field to spread the message, our love to the world.
Events, a word everybody would love, which would also be a part of out job. Having events are fun, as preparing for the event itself could be hectic, during the event itself would usually be a total disaster, but at the end of the event, you would feel proud of what you had done, as it might not be the on your expectation, but that is the result that you would get by forking out that much.
Sleepless nights, hectic schedule, last minute changes, and night trial run are part of an event, life wouldn’t be easy as everything is done last minute, getting back home in the early morning, unpack, bath, pack and there you go, preparing for the execution of that event. Life might be tough, but the toughness will be the experience that no one else would have.
Imagine telling this to others during dinner night, other than telling that you sit in the office from day till night, there would definitely be something interesting going on within you to tell others, something more exciting, something that might bring Goosebumps towards others, or might be something sadistic, which would touch into a human’s heart.
